Thanks to partnerships established through the Georgia Public Library Service, you can get free passes or discounts from the library for these cultural institutions. As most of the passes cannot be placed on hold, check availability in our catalog or call your nearest branch.
The pass allows up to four (4) free admissions to performances at the Alliance Theatre on the Hertz and Coca-Cola Stages. To redeem the pass for free tickets, visit alliancetheatre.org to select your desired performance, date, and time and use the promo code on the pass. Note that the pass must be presented at the Alliance Theatre along with the tickets to the performance.

Center for Puppetry Arts Passport to Puppetry
The passport is valid for up to 4 visitors to the World of Puppetry Museum in Atlanta, GA, OR for 25% off an all-inclusive ticket that includes the museum, a performance and a Create-A-Puppet Workshop. The museum explores the art of puppet making and performance and includes a gallery devoted to Jim Henson and his famous Muppets. Not valid online, for previously booked tickets, group ticket sales, or with any other discount.

Chattahoochee Nature Center
Free general admission for up to 4 visitors to Chattahoochee Nature Center’s 127-acres site in Roswell, GA. Families can enjoy picnicking, hiking trails, family fun days, aviaries with wild birds, and plenty of activities for all ages. Pass is valid on general admission only, not special events or activities inside the park such as tubing, rafting or ziplining. CNC is open seven days a week, year-round. During summer months, CNC’s popular Butterfly Encounter is open every day, allowing guests to walk among hundreds of butterflies.

The aquarium offers a general admission discount of $6 per ticket when you use this special link georgiaaquarium.org/libraries to purchase advance tickets. All tickets are a flat fee, regardless of age or time of entry. The discount extends to animal encounters and special events at about 15% off.

Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites
The Park Pass Kit includes a pass for free parking to more than 60 State Parks and a pass for free admission for up to 2 visitors to any Georgia Department of Natural Resources Historic Site.
These passes can be placed on hold. Patrons are encouraged to reserve Park Pass kits in advance, especially for busy vacation seasons. Go Fish Education Center
If you’re heading to South Georgia, check out the Department of Natural Resource’s Go Fish Education Center and Hatchery in Perry, GA. The Go Fish Pass provides free entry for up to 4 visitors to explore the hatchery, aquarium and casting pond where you can try your hand at catch and release.

Be sure to check out your local parks! There’s no need for a pass for these locations. Check their websites for local activity information, hours, and more.
Cobb County Parks, Recreation, Cultural Affairs Department (PRCA) provides many options for outdoor or indoor adventures, including more than 40 facilities offering a broad mix of programs. For outdoor activities, try PRCA’s multi-use Silver Comet Trail, Heritage Park Trails, East Cobb Park or an aquatic center. For indoor fun, check out The Art Station at Big Shanty or The Art Place at Mountain View.
Macon Area Museums
The Macon Museum Pass provides free admission for 4 visitors to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, the Tubman Museum of African American Art, History, and Culture, and the Museum of Arts and Sciences, all in Macon, GA. Michael C. Carlos Museum
Up to 6 visitors get free admission to the Carlos Museum’s exquisite permanent collections and renowned exhibitions showcasing arts and culture from around the world. The museum is located on Emory University’s main campus in Atlanta, GA.

Check out an informative DVD at the library, watch it at home, then return it to receive a pass for general admission for up to 4 visitors to this local museum in Kennesaw, GA. The pass must be used within 7 days of receipt. The Southern Museum is home to the General locomotive, made famous during the Great Locomotive Chase of 1862. It also features the Glover Machine Works, a restored early twentieth-century belt-driven locomotive assembly line. The Jolley Education Center offers numerous hands-on and interactive exhibits.

William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum
Up to 4 visitors get free general admission to The Breman Museum’s permanent and rotating exhibits, which includes The Holocaust Years 1933-1945 and a gallery dedicated to Southern Jewish History. The pass in not valid on special events or exhibits. The museum, located in Atlanta, GA, reserves the right to limit the pass to once per quarter per user. Check out an informative DVD from the library, watch it at home, then return it to receive a pass for general admission for up to 3 visitors to Zoo Atlanta. The pass must be used within 4 weeks of receipt and is valid Monday through Friday only. Note that children 2 years of age and younger get in for free. Please check the Zoo’s website for visiting information before you visit. The DVD may be checked out only once per year.
