Cobb County is proposing operational and safety improvements at the western intersection on of Shallowford Road at Gordy Parkway (Project No. B2306) in order to improve vehicle and pedestrian safety, driver visibility, and intersection on operations. Project improvements will include:

• Shifting the left turn lane on northbound Gordy Parkway to improve sight for turning
• Adding a 4th crosswalk on the west leg for pedestrians
• Shifting the right turn lane on northbound Gordy Parkway to improve pedestrian visibility.
