Cobb County Water System (CCWS) partners with Cobb EMC on a variety of events throughout the year. The largest partnership is for the annual Home Energy Efficiency Makeover. This program enables a deserving family to receive a Home Energy Efficiency Makeover for both energy and water efficiency. CCWS donates new low flow toilets, water-efficient showerheads, and water-efficient bathroom faucets to be installed in the home.

Cobb EMC also provides CCWS multiple opportunities to provide conservation education through presentations and tabling. We annually represent CCWS at Cobb EMC’s annual meeting, recycling day, contractor’s luncheon, and other events. These events enable us to reach thousands of additional customers with our educational messages of water conservation and water pollution prevention.
