Silver Comet Extension

The PATH Foundation, along with the Cobb County Department of Transportation, is working to connect the Silver Comet Trail to the Beltline in the City of Atlanta.  Construction of the trail along Atlanta Road from Plant Atkinson to the Chattahoochee River has been underway for about a year, and now PATH Foundation is ready to begin the rail to trail extension from E-W Connector to Plant Atkinson.

Cobb County and City of Smyrna will host the PATH Foundation for a drop-in open house.  The purpose of this open house is for residents to learn more about this project and ask questions.  Project Layouts will be available for viewing and engineering staff will be on hand to answer questions.
