Beginning March 18, CobbLinc will be updating bus stop signs throughout the county. The new signage will include the route number, direction of travel, and the end-of-line destination to make travel easier. Approximately 655 CobbLinc bus stop signs are scheduled to be replaced.

Design of the new signage is based on the Unified Bus Stop Signage Design developed for the Atlanta Regional Commission’s (ARC) pilot project to install improved signage at stops in Downtown and Midtown Atlanta in locations where multiple operators service a single stop. ARC was able to expand this effort to support the installation of improved bus stop signs throughout Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb and Fulton counties after receiving $3.8 million in state funding.

Having a consistent look and feel to transit system signage across the region will help riders better navigate the region’s transit systems.

CobbLinc riders with questions about bus stop locations and routes should visit cobblinc.com or call (770) 427-4444.
