During its regular meeting Tuesday, the Board of Commissioners recognized Administrative Coordinator Brenda L. Legg for her 50 years of dedicated service to Cobb County. Current and past county employees, along with family members, gathered to honor her prior to the meeting.

Legg, a Marietta native, first joined the county data processing department in 1969. She worked in various positions and the department was eventually renamed Information Technology Services. She is a graduate of Sprayberry High School and the Executive Support Professional program. She has chaired the Support Services Sub-committee of the Customer Service Council for three years and has worked for four different directors of Information Technology Services during her career.
