Please place your CLEAN acceptable items into the bins provided. Take your bags/containers that you may have them stored in with you. Clean foil and clean TV dinner tray type materials are acceptable.
Cobb County does NOT pay for aluminum cans.

The rule of thumb is: If it is a container with a cap, it is recyclable.
Do not recycle other glass products such as table tops, window panes, headlights, light bulbs, drinking glasses, etc. These items contain additives that make the glass unsuitable for recycling. These items can be taken down the street to:

Paper Products
Paper Products may be dropped off for free at:

Paper products, newspapers, magazines, office paper, books, and thin cardboard (i.e., cereal box, pancake mix box). If you have shredded paper, it can be dumped into the paper bin.
There are separate bins for corrugated cardboard (i.e., shipping boxes, TV box).
Plastics 1-7
Clean (food containers must be rinsed out with no food residue left), plastics 1-7 (i.e. water bottles, milk jugs, detergent bottles) , do not flatten or remove labels. Take your bags/containers that you may have them stored in with you. Drop off for free at:

Let the scale operator know that you are bringing electronics to recycle. You will be directed to a specific area on the tipping floor where you may leave the electronics. Televisions will not be recycled and are subject to regular tipping floor fees.
