The pets listed here are available for licensed rescue organizations. Sponsorship are the monies available to the licensed rescue organizations for the pet's care. Rescue organizations do not need an appointment to pick up the available pets. If you are with a rescue group and would like to rescue any of the pets available on this page, please reach out using the contact information. He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/3, and no one has come to reclaim him. We're surprised no one is missing this sweet boy. The volunteers have discovered that he is quite smart and knows the following commands: sit, stay, shake, and lay down. Sponsorship: $650 Specifics: This sweet boy kept getting out of his yard and showing up at the shelter. He was here three times in one week! Sadly the 3rd time the owner did not reclaim him. It wasn’t a huge surprise because the poor pup’s owner called him “Headache.” The volunteers renamed him Raider. Now Raider needs a new home that has some patience and will provide him time to play and exercise to keep him entertained and at home! He is sweet and knows some commands like sit and stay. Sponsorship: $778 Specifics: This sweet and snuggly girl has been named Allie and is 2yrs old and 50lbs. Allie was brought to the shelter after being found on 3/2. She has a broken elbow that will require surgery. Her stray hold is over and we would like her to be rescued as soon as possible! Shelter arrival date: 03/29/24 Name: Archie ID#: 655534 Medical info: Heartworm negative, Intact, broken leg Eligible for Rescue: Now! Sponsorship: $825 Specifics: Archie came to the shelter March 29th. He and another dog were found loose near a dog park. Sweet little Archie was limping around on an injured leg. His leg is obviously broken with significant displacement. We are not sure how long it has been broken, as it has already begun to heal. He will require surgery to repair the leg to avoid pain and discomfort in the future. His leg is splinted for now until he can be rescued and surgery can be performed. Cute Archie is only 26lbs, 3yrs, and heartworm negative. His friend was already adopted, he is very sweet, and he is the perfect size so please come rescue him!! Shelter arrival date: 04/06/24 Name: Chloe ID#: 655714 Medical info: Heartworm negative, intact, nerve damage in leg Eligible for Rescue: Now! Sponsorship: $765 Specifics: Chloe was brought to the shelter 4/6. Sadly, her owner moved away and just left her behind with a roommate. Chloe is 2yrs, 49lbs, and super sweet! She came in with a limp and appears to have nerve damage to her right, front leg. She has feeling in her leg, but can’t move it. It must have been like this for some time as there is significant atrophy of the leg and the skin on top of her foot is thickened from dragging her toes/knuckles. Chloe will need her leg amputated to avoid further damage/trauma. To top it off she is also heartworm positive. The shelter is packed and this poor baby has a couple strikes against her, so she needs rescue AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! Please come meet this sweet and gentle soul. She needs your help!!
