Transportation Project Services Division
The Engineering Division develops and oversees the design and construction of transportation improvements, including new roads, roadway improvements, sidewalk installations, bridge rehabilitation and installation, and other infrastructure upgrades.

Bike and Pedestrian Planning
The Cobb DOT conducted the Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvement Plan that identifies where Cobb County can improve conditions for bicycling and walking and identify a strategy for investing in those improvements over time.

The South Cobb Implementation Strategy (SCIS) is the culmination of previous County-led efforts (planning studies, infrastructure improvements, etc.) to create a balanced methodology for implementing the necessary projects to improve South Cobb County.

Library Cards and Accounts
A Cobb County library card allows patrons to borrow library materials, use the library’s public access computers, request materials through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service, and other Cobb County Public Library services. A valid library card must be used to borrow library materials. If the patron has forgotten the card, photo identification or acceptable identification must be presented.

What is SCRA?
In 2011, the passage of Georgia Senate Bill 266 reactivated the previously defunct South Cobb Redevelopment Authority (SCRA). The body has been renamed the South Cobb Redevelopment Authority and has been given powers that will have a wide-ranging impact on the revitalization, redevelopment and economic vitality of the area that it serves.
