Cobb PARKS Adult Pickleball League Information
Cobb County PARKS Adult Pickleball League will be played during the spring (March-May), summer (June-July/August), and fall (August/September-October) seasons. Games will be played on Thursday nights at the Harrison Park and Larry Bell Park and on Sundays at Harrison Park, Larry Bell Park, and Oregon Park. The following leagues will be offered:
Game Times – Games will be scheduled to begin as early as 6:30 p.m. and as late as 9:30 p.m. during the week and as early as 1pm and as late as 9:30pm on Sunday. The number of teams in each league will determine start time.
League Information - The PARKS Department will furnish balls for all games. Players must provide their own paddles.
Leagues will be categorized into men’s leagues, coed leagues, and women’s leagues. When teams register they will be asked to rate their skill level from the choices below. If we do not have a minimum of 5 teams per division, we will combine leagues. If there are enough teams in a league, teams may be divided into different skill divisions. Players ages 16+ are welcome to play. Teams will play a best of 3 sets each week.
2.0-2.5 Novice - Can rally the ball, keep score
3.0 Intermediate - Makes good serves, returns the ball quickly, knows basic strokes
3.5-4.0 Intermediate/Advanced - Controls their shots, knows many different shots,uses strategy
4.5-5.0 Advanced - Mastered all skills and strategies
Men’s League – 2 men must play on each team
Coed League – One man and one woman must play on each team.
Women’s League – 2 women must play on each team.
League Format – All teams are guaranteed 7 games. The number of teams in each league will determine the playoff structure which could be used in getting you your 7 games. Make-up games will be determined by league coordinator.

Cobb Pickleball Instruction
Cobb Parks offers multiple options for learning to play pickleball or improving your skills. Our tennis facilities and recreation centers offers classes where you can learn how to play, and some of the tennis centers offers more advanced instruction. For questions regarding pickleball instruction, contact the specific location (locations listed below) of where your instruction will take place.
