Upcoming Events & Classes at the Cultural Center

PARKS POP-UP: Art & Music Event JUNE 18th 2022

Join us on June 18th for PARKS Pop-Up: Art & Music Event. Enjoy the tunes of two local bands, Stone Soup Circle (12pm-2pm) and Let's Go (3pm-5pm).  Shop from local artists and purchase sweet treats from Elizabeth's Delightful Edibles.

Stone Soup Circle:  Sone Soup Circle is a group of local musicians that have enjoyed making music together since 2009. The name, Stone Soup, is actually quite fitting. The origins come from a European folk tale in which the residents of a town each share a small amount of food that eventually feeds the whole town. In their case, the ingredients are musicians, and the "soup" is the wide variety of music that they share. The passion for music, and the desire to share it with others is what helps keep Stone Soup Circle together.

Let's Go: A fun mix of 60s to current music plus originals.  Let’s Go is made up of four unique people. Judy: co-lead singer & guitarist is a classically trained singer and musician. Reid: co-lead singer and guitarist has performed all over the world with various bands, as a solo artist, with Grammy winners and top songwriters in various genres. Mike: drummer / percussionist and John: bass  / violin have played with many well known musicians / groups around Georgia. Together, Let’s Go! create an upbeat blend of top requested favorites and a few surprising deep cuts ranging from A-Z.  For more information: 33andonethirdrecords.com/
