MiniCon 2024 Applications!

Join us for MiniCon 2024 on June 22, 2024, from 10am to 5 pm at Sewell Mill Library & Cultural Center! This festival will feature retailers and artists and will showcase handmade goods, fine arts, performing arts, and more!

We are currently accepting art submissions from Cobb County High School students for our "On the Rise" exhibit which will run April 4th-May 11th. Quilts on Display Opens March 4th

Starting March 4th, the East Cobb Quilter's Guild's 2024 Challenge quilts will be on display in out gallery. Check out the many intricate, handcrafted quilts; all with the theme "Musical Madness". This exhibit will be on display March 4-29th.

National Quilt Day Celebration on March 16th

Celebrate National Quilt Day at Sewell Mill Library and Cultural Center on March 16th, from 10am-5pm! Visitors can listen to a story about quilting during Storytime and explore the gallery to see participating quilts from East Cobb Quilter’s Guild’s 2024 Quilt Challenge “Musical Madness.” At 2pm, join the Quilter’s Talk to hear from ECQG members as they discuss their techniques, process, and love for quilting. Throughout the day visitors can make a paper quilt block that will be added to our community quilt and displayed in the gallery! For more information, visit or call 770-509-2711 ext 2.

A S-well Egg Hunt!

The Easter Bunny has misplaced a few eggs around Sewell Mill, can you help us locate all of the missing eggs in time for Easter? Find all of the eggs for a prize while supplies last! This egg hunt takes place at your leisure and there is no time limit. March 25-28! 10am-7pm.

For adults registered in Pottery Classes our Clay Studio Guidelines are  below:

Cobb Parks Refund Policy

When the department cancels the activity, registration fees will be refunded.

To withdraw from a class that hasn't been canceled, submit a withdrawal request at least 7 days before the scheduled start of the class. You may request a 100% credit to the family’s account or a refund.

No refunds/credits will be given within the week prior to the start of the class, except for verified medical/hardship cases. Refunds for payments made by cash or check will be sent approximately 2-4 weeks after the refund is requested.

Senior Services Special Events and Trips are non-refundable.
