Arts of the United States

Arts of the United States, a joint project between the Lamar Dodd Art School, University of Georgia and the University of Georgia and Yale University Libraries, contains over 4,000 images of works important to the study of the history of art in the United States. The pieces, dating from the 17th through the 20th century, include architecture, decorative arts, painting, sculpture, graphic arts, photography, and stage and costume design as well as Native American art and artifacts. Although the majority of artists represented in the database are American, significant works created by non-native artists while in the United States are included. This database is part of GALILEO.

Grove Dictionary of American Music

The Grove Dictionary of American Music, second edition is the largest, most comprehensive reference publication on American Music. Twenty-five years ago, the four volumes of the first edition of the dictionary initiated a great expansion in American music scholarship. This second edition reflects the growth in scholarship the first edition initiated. At eight volumes, it provides greatly expanded coverage, particularly in the areas of popular music, cities and regions, musical theater, opera, concert music, and music technology, as well as the musical traditions of many ethnic and cultural groups.

Grove Encyclopedia of American Art

The Grove Encyclopedia of American Art (GEAA) deals with all aspects of American art and architecture from Native American and Colonial art to contemporary American art. Drawing upon the expansive scholarship in The Dictionary of Art (DOA) and adding hundreds of new entries not previously covered in the DOA, GEAA is a comprehensive and current reference resource for information on this important area for students, researchers, and the general public. Morningstar Investment Research Center

Morningstar Investment Research Center offers analysis on 1,700 stocks, 2,000 mutual funds, and 300 exchange traded funds (ETFs). While it is primarily designed as a tool for investors, it is also an excellent place to get quick information on a company. The Company Stock Reports include analysis written by Morningstar’s experts, up to 10 years of financials, bond information, ratios, SEC filings, and information on insider actions and institutional holders. Reports are available for the top 2,000 companies but other information is available for many more.
