Every child in every school, everywhere in the country should have the glasses they need to succeed in school and in life. -- Austin Beutner, founder of Vision To Learn

Update 5/19/23  All June appointment times for Vision To Learn on-site mobile clinics at Cobb libraries are full as more than 1000 appointment requests have been turned in. For June, 640 Vision To Learn appointments are scheduled at Cobb libraries.

Vision To Learn appointment registration request forms are being processed by VTL to assign applicants to June clinics. July clinics will be added to the schedule.  A limited number of appointment slots for July may become available unless the appointment slots assigned for the month are filled out of the pending applications already turned in.

A national non-profit, Vision To Learn has visited Cobb libraries during summer break since 2018 to provide eye exams and prescription glasses – free of charge to the children and their families – for students ages 5 to 18.

Summer break Vision To Learn on-site mobile clinics will return in June to Cobb County public libraries to provide eye exams and glasses – free of charge – for children ages 5-18.

Since 2018, Vision To Learn has visited Cobb libraries during summer breaks to serve kids in need of vision care and glasses for school and life.

Organizers of the Vision To Learn clinics say the sixth summer of VTL at Cobb libraries is expected to reach more children than last year’s record of almost 400 exams resulting in more than 250 receiving glasses.

Even with the added capacity for VTL appointment slots, officials say Vision To Learn is a popular program with registration required and space limited. The registration form for June is at forms.gle/jwQnrSMG5S3AZza36.
