The Cobb County District Attorney's Office is set to host its Homicide Candlelight Vigil on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the Cobb County Superior Courthouse in the Jury Assembly Room. The vigil is designed to recognize and support families and friends affected by homicides in Cobb County and marks a significant moment for communal remembrance.

Doors will open at 6 pm, allowing attendees time to gather and share in some light refreshments before the program commences at 7 pm. This event holds special significance as it marks the first in-person homicide vigil since 2020, providing an opportunity for the community to come together physically and emotionally.

The vigil will take place at The Cobb County Superior Courthouse, located at 70 Haynes St. in Marietta, GA 30090. To ensure a meaningful and well-coordinated event, the Cobb DA's Office encourages attendees to RSVP by emailing victimassistance@cobbcounty.org.
