The Cobb Family Advocacy Center (FAC) opened in January 2024.  The FAC is a national Family Justice Center model that addresses the manifold and diverse needs of victims who access multiple service agencies at various sites by bringing services to the victim.  This highly collaborative project provides a centralized location for service delivery where all agencies will share intake processes, limit points of access, limit the number of times victims interact or relate the details of their victimization, and overall increase access to services. Representatives from partner agencies holistically deliver an array of services in one location that enhances prevention efforts, supports survivors, promotes accountability and legal protection, and empowers marginalized communities.  The FAC staff collaborates with on-and-off-site partner agencies to coordinate public and private services to assist victims of interpersonal violence and abuse in our community.
