Effective January 5, 2022, commercial permit applicants are required to submit a scope of work letter with their application. This change is to ensure transparency within departments and help applicants reach the appropriate parties when submitting their application(s). Please limit scope of work letters to ONE page whenever possible.

A scope of work is also required for the following applications: 

• Accessory Structure
• New Tenant (Commercial Interior/Exterior Renovation)
• New Tenant Move-In: Commercial

What is a scope of work letter? 

A scope of work letter details what work will be performed on the project. It may include a timeline, milestones, and/or other details pertinent to the project.
