Storm Drains are part of the system that moves rainwater away from our homes, businesses, and roadways. Unfortunately, litter, harmful substances, and landscape debris are often dumped into the system and cause flooding and pollution problems.
We are seeking volunteers to help educate the community about this issue by providing free marking kits. The kit includes aluminum markers, adhesive pads, gloves, bags, and education materials (Stormwater fact sheet, Water & Wastewater 101 fact sheet, Fats Oils & Grease fact sheet, Tobacco Litter Prevention fact sheet, Who to Call card, Preventing Household Hazardous Waste card, and Pet Waste brochure) .
