Virtual Field Trip
Every year, Cobb Water partners with the National Park Service’s Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area to facilitate outdoor educational field trips for title-one elementary schools at Sibley Pond.
The subjects studied include Food Web, Decomposes, Wildlife, and Pond Study. This grant-funded program is part of EKO (Every Kid Outdoors), a national program that allows students and family members access to federal parks and other public lands to discover our wildlife, resources, and history and to inspires good stewardship for national parks and public lands.
