Security Camera Registry

The Cobb County Police Camera Registration program is a police/community video partnership that operates on a voluntary basis with homeowners, neighborhoods and business owners who own private video systems. We encourage both businesses and residents to register their cameras online .This program is intended to let our officers know where cameras are active in the county in case a crime occurs. Officers will not have direct access to homeowner's camera footage. Those who register a camera will be contacted if a crime occurs in the vicinity of that camera.

Resident – Register Your Cameras

Register your security cameras with the Cobb County Police Department to help identify area cameras in case of an incident.  This will help us build an interactive map of where cameras are in our community.  A Cobb County Police Department investigator will contact you via email if they need your assistance solving a crime near you.  Registering your cameras does not give the Cobb County Police Department access to your video, it enables investigators to know a camera is present at your location and easily request video evidence.

There is no cost involved and takes less than one minute.

Businesses/Apartments/Corporations – Integrate Your Cameras

Integrate your security cameras takes community security one step further, helping you get more out of your security camera investment.

Camera sharing allows the Cobb County Police Department access to your camera feed, only the cameras you choose to share, in case of an emergency.  Sharing your feed can improve response time and keep the community safer.  The department requests access to your exterior, public facing cameras.  To share your cameras, all you need is a small fususCORE device that plugs into your camera system.  Once it’s setup, it enables camera sharing based on your settings without impacting your network.
