Registration Open for Virtual Money Smart Week 2022

Cobb County Public Library and libraries across the US will participate in Virtual Money Smart Week 2022, held the week of April 10.

Virtual Money Smart Week 2022 will focus on four “Money Smart” themes. Content will be provided by government, non-profit, and educational institutions through a combination of presentations, toolkits, and other pertinent resources. Money Smart Week programming will focus on supporting the needs of low-to-moderate income households to encourage greater financial well-being in our communities. All events are free.

The Virtual Money Smart Week 2022 daily topics line-up and presenters are:

  • Monday, April 11: 2 pm: Spend Smart. Eat Smart, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach (register here)
  • Tuesday, April 12, 2 pm: Credit: Build & Improve It!, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (register here)
  • Wednesday, April 13, 2 pm: Buying or Refinancing a Home: Options & Tools, North West Housing Partnership (register here)
  • Thursday, April 14, 2 pm: Social Security: Understanding Retirement, Spouse, & Survivor Benefits, Social Security Administration (register here)
