Traffic Update:  Southbound lanes of Circle 75 Parkway to remain closed this weekend

The roadway between Windy Hill Road and Herodian Way is a popular access route to Truist Park and Battery Atlanta

MARIETTA — May 20, 2023

Cobb Water crews continue to assess damage from a water main break underneath Circle 75 Parkway between Windy Hill Road and Herodian Way.  A 12-inch water main broke late Friday afternoon, causing part of the roadway to wash out.   Work overnight found the damage was more extensive than initially thought, so an additional contractor has been brought in to assist with repairs.

Circle 75 Parkway will likely remain closed throughout the weekend.  Drivers heading to Truist Park and the Battery Atlanta area should use Interstate North Parkway, Windy Ridge Parkway, and Cobb Parkway as alternates.

Cobb Water, Cobb DOT, and Cobb Police are working together to handle the roadway situation and create detours.

Updates on the repairs can be found on Cobb DOT’s traffic website at cobbcommute.org.
