Jan. 9, 2023 – The Honorable A. Gregory Poole has been named Chief Judge of the Cobb Judicial Circuit, and the Honorable Ann B. Harris has been selected as Vice Chief Judge.

They were unanimously selected by their fellow Cobb’s Superior Court jurists for the roles they will hold for two years.

Cobb has 11 Superior Court Judges, each of whom is elected to a four-year term. The Chief Judge is tasked with administrative duties and oversight in addition to a regular court docket.

Poole succeeds Judge Rob Leonard as Chief Judge.
