๐ŸŽต  The Glover Park Concert Series begins the season at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 26. Local and national acts perform on the last Friday night of the month, April through September on the Marietta Square. The concerts are free and if you are looking for a โ€œfront-row seat,โ€ a limited number of tables can be reserved for a fee (and will sell out quickly) on the first working day of each month beginning at 8 a.m. Reserve a table here: https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/mariettaga/6719.

Saturday, April 27

Pop Up Legal Clinic  -Get FREE legal advice at Legal Aid Cobb's Pop-up Legal Clinic, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Smyrna First United Church, 1315 Concord Road SE, Smyrna.

Attorneys will offer free legal consulting concerning civil matters, including family law, landlord/tenant, probate, immigration, small claims, bankruptcy and more. Please bring important documents with you. Arrive by 9:30 a.m. to register. Community resources will also be available at the event.  Click here to view the flyer.

๐Ÿ’Š Medication Disposal Event - bring your medications for proper disposal. Keep Cobb Beautiful staff and law enforcement personnel will collect medicine in their containers.  Accepted items: over-the-counter medicines in liquid and pill form, ointments, patches, creams, and also pet medicine.

Smyrna's Spring Jonquil Festival in the Market Village and Village Green Park in Smyrna, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, April 27 - 28.  The festival features over 150 artist booths,  food, entertainment and children's activities. 

Sunday, April 28

 Savor the flavors of Marietta  at the Taste of Marietta, 11  a.m. - 7 p.m.  Sunday, April 28. More than 50 restaurants, caterers, and food trucks will showcase their best dishes . ๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿ• The FREE event will have live music, games in the Kids Alley, and a food judging contest. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿถ Meet the county sheriffโ€™s paw-ficers at the Cobb County Sheriff's Community Briefing.  Tuesday, April 30 at the Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Pkwy SE, Marietta.
4:30 p.m. - meet the K-9s and mounted patrol.
6 p.m. - Briefing and program

Cobb Sheriff Craig Owens will share public safety updates and initiatives. Attendees will also hear an engaging panel discussion between college students and Sheriff's Office representatives. Plus, enjoy food, drinks and door prizes!

Wednesday, May 1

Learn to understand and improve your credit score at a class 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Switzer Library in Marietta. Learn more about the factors that contribute to your credit score and why they are important. The session, brought to you by the UGA Extension Office, can help you avoid mistakes that can keep you from getting approved for a loan. Switzer Library is located at 266 Roswell Street, Marietta.

Rain Barrel Make and Take workshop, at Cobb Water education lunch & learn noon - 1 p.m. at 662 South Cobb Drive, Marietta. Workshops take place outside in our Wildlife & Rain Garden. In case of rain, the workshop will be moved indoors. Free. Cobb residents only. Registration required.  Lifetime limit of one barrel per household.
