Time to pack your summer pool bag. Chill out with the fam and enjoy the summer vibe at Sewell Park Pool and Seven Springs Water Park.

⛳Have a hole lot of fun at the new mini golf course opening this summer at Cobb Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Parkway SE, Marietta. Stay indoors and putter around with us. Our wildly dedicated team of builders (Cobb staff) set up a mini golf course just for you and your family! Bring your peeps over to play June 14 - July 27. 

Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
Fridays and Saturdays - 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Closed Sundays
$10 per person


  • Austell Midnight Train Celebration, 7 p.m. Friday, June 14 at Threadmill Complex. Live music, poetry and more. View the flyer here.
  • Juneteenth block party 6 - 11 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Marietta Square's Glover Park. Attendees are asked to wear white clothing. View the flyer here.
  • Juneteenth Cultural Festival, Marietta Square - The Cobb County Branch of the NAACP's Juneteenth celebration 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday, June 15 in Marietta Square. Juneteenth is the most popular annual celebration of emancipation from slavery in the United States.  View the flyer here:
  • Concert on the Green: A Juneteenth Celebration 5 - 10 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Logan Farm Park. Live music. Food available. Bring blankets and folding chairs and join this celebration
  •  One Community: A Juneteenth Celebration of Unity at Swift-Cantrell Park 11 a.m. - 2 p.m Saturday, June 15. There will be music, food, bounce houses, games, police cars, and fire trucks! Free.
  • Austell Juneteenth Festival - A day of celebration and community noon - 7 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Legion Park, 1514 Austell Powder Springs Rd, Austell. The free festival will feature live music, kids' fun zone,  a health and wellness area, live entertainment, DJs,  and community resources.  It is hosted by Comedian A-Train, Junior from the Steve Harvey Morning Show, and MAJIC 107.5 personality Reec Swiney. Headling the event will be national recording artists Koffee Brown, Raheem The Dream, Velocity The Band, and other notable acts. See the flyers here.
  • Join The Friends of the Concord Covered Bridge Historic District, Cobb PARKS and The Toni Morrison Society's Bench by the Road for a placement ceremony, 10 a.m. - noon, Tuesday, June 18 at the Silver Comet Trail-Concord Road Entrance. The group will dedicate a bench in honor of the legacy of Toni Morrison. The bench also pays tribute to the formerly enslaved and freed persons of Cobb County after the Emancipation Proclamation on the eve of the Juneteenth holiday.   Come be a part of this meaningful initiative and pay tribute to a literary icon and the formerly enslaved Matilda Ruff and her three children who lived near this site.   • Juneteenth Black History Tour, 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at the Marietta City Cemetery, led by the Marietta History Center. The tour will highlight those who were enslaved and their descendants.
    $15 for not-yet members/$7 for Museum Members

  • Cobb African American Policy Forum 10 a.m. - Noon, Wednesday, June 19 at Jim R. Miller Park Event Center. Take part in engaging discussions addressing important issues affecting the African American community in Cobb County. Read more here


Dolly Days of Summer - Dolly Parton fans, two-step over to Dolly Days of Summer, 5 - 8 p.m., Saturday, June 15 at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre. This Dolly Parton extravaganza is the hottest nightclub in town. It has trivia, music bingo, karaoke, and a costume contest.  More info and registration here:

Play Nerf Wars over Father's Day weekend at Ward Rec Center 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15. Cobb Therapeutics invites participants of all ability levels and special needs, age 8 and older.

Family Fun Safety Days

Family Fun Safety Days will spice up your summer with fun and entertainment and we even sneak in some education. Come to the Cobb Safety Village where kids will get inside emergency vehicles, hop into a squad car, ring the firetruck bell, watch a puppet show and learn about how to stay safe in the home.

• 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Monday, July 15

No need to register.

MiniCon - Geek out at MiniCon, this year's free fandom and pop culture convention. From 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., dive into anime and manga, comics and gaming. Celebrate fantasy, role-playing games, and sci-fi. We hope you'll wear costumes and take the stage in cosplay karaoke.  Do some shopping in the Artist Alley and have a bite at the yummo food trucks.  Everything  is happening at Sewell Mill Library and Cultural Center (which is bigger on the inside), 2051 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta.

🎆 Fourth of July events in Cobb County 🎆


🎉Kennesaw’s Salute to America – Rock out to live music at the pre-Independence Day celebration 6 - 10 p.m. Thursday, July 3 at Depot Park, 2829 Cherokee Street. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. More info here.


🎇 Marietta’s Fourth in the Park Festival – Celebrate Independence Day 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.  Thursday, July 4, at the Marietta Square. The parade starts at 10 a.m., followed by live music, an arts and crafts show, and fireworks.  Learn more here.

🍔 Powder Springs 4th of July Celebration- Wear red, white, and blue  6 - 10 p.m. Thursday, July 4, at Thurman Springs Park, 4485 Pineview Drive. Enjoy a car show, food vendors, two live bands, beer and wine, and amazing fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m. More info here.

😄  Acworth July 4th Concert & Fireworks – Join the  4th of July festivities 4 - 10 p.m. Thursday, July 4, at Cauble Park, 4425 Beach St. Enjoy live music starting at 5:30 p.m. and a spectacular fireworks show over Lake Acworth around 9:30 p.m. General admission is free. More info here.
