Cobb County intends to apply for HUD’s The Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant. This grant will assist in empowering the County to actively take steps to remove barriers to affordable housing and seeks to increase housing production and lower housing costs for families over the long term.

A 15-day public comment period commences on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 and concludes on Thursday, October 26, 2023. A draft of the County’s PRO Housing Application can be viewed at the link below:

An Agenda authorizing the submission of the grant application was included on the Cobb County Board of Commissioners meeting held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. All comments regarding this Public Notice should be directed to the Cobb County CDBG Program Office at (770) 528-1455 or via email at  publiccomments@cobbcountycdbg.com.
