Grant Application Cycle - Phase 40 Emergency Food & Shelter (EFSP) Program

The Cobb County CDBG Program Office is accepting funding applications for Phase 40 of the Emergency Food & Shelter Program from Monday, November 28, 2022 to Friday, January 6, 2023.

ABOUT EFSP -  The Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) is a Federal program administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and has been entrusted through the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act of 1987. Eligible EFSP activities include the following:   Emergency Rent/Mortgage/Utility Assistance, Mass Shelter, Supplies/Equipment, Served Meals, Support Services, Rehabilitation/Repairs

Nonprofits applying for EFSP funding are required to have at least 2-years experience directly related to the proposed activity. Prospective applicants should attend the Application Workshop to learn more about the program and minimum requirements.
