Our training program surpasses all requirements mandated by state regulations and delivers high credentials that our personnel are known for around the country.
The Cobb County Police Department offers two programs for young men and women: the Police Athletic League (PAL) and Explorer Program.
Cobb Police Athletic League (PAL) is a charitable non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of young people ages 4-15. Cobb PAL focuses on juvenile crime prevention through athletic and recreational activities for Cobb County’s high-risk neighborhoods.
The goals of the Cobb County Police Explorers program are to educate youth in police operations, to interest them in a possible career in law enforcement, and to build confidence and valuable leadership skills for the future.
