Classes begin the week of January 6.
Classes meet 1 hour per week (1/2 hour for tots classes) for 5 weeks.
Cost: $60 ($90 for non-residents)
Tots Classes: $30 ($45 for non-residents)

This tournament is great for the college player home for the holidays as well as a high level high school player looking to play against college players.

Coaching Spotlight

Congratulations to Coach Zwelo and Coach Rachel!

They had three teams win City Championships this fall. The Kennworth Men's (Ball) and Women's (Harbour) C8 teams as well as a 10u USTA team!

Meet the Kennworth Staff

William Fawcett - Facility Manager

William has been a part of Kennworth Tennis Center for many years serving as Head Tennis Professional from 2000-2020. Prior to Kennworth he taught at Fair Oaks Tennis Center from 1998-2000.

Charles McCoy - Assistant Manager

Charlie has worked with Cobb Parks for over 15 years. He served as the facility manager at Sweetwater Tennis Center for 10+ years and has worked at Harrison Tennis Center and now at Kennworth Tennis Center. He is a certified USTA tournament official and has served as an ALTA coordinator for many years.

Services

Kennworth has 8 lighted hard courts and a pro-shop building. Located in northwest Cobb, Kennworth is convenient to the Town Center area of Cobb. Kennworth has a growing junior development program and is host to several tournaments though-out the year.

Skip Wells Park (formerly Bells Ferry Park) (4 tennis courts)
Big Shanty Park (4 tennis courts and 4 pickleball courts)
Shaw Park (2 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts)

League Forms

Court Reservation Form - use this form to request a site as your courts for your league team for the upcoming season.
Rules and Regulations - rules and policies for all teams participating at a Cobb County park tennis facility. All team members are required to be aware and abide by the rules.
Team Practice Request Form - for teams requesting a regular weekly time for team practice. Fees must be paid when submitting the form. Check with facility manager for availability.
Team Practice Request Form - (winter season only) - same as above, but for December, January and February only.
