The Therapeutic Recreation Services (TRS) unit provides recreational, leisure, and educational opportunities for persons with various disabilities. Our goals are to increase social skills; promote community awareness, and emotional and physical well-being; and for participants to learn new skills through structured activities.
For questions contact 770-528-2569.  We have a number of new programs that need YOUR help to be a "GO!!" 

TRS Music is Life (ages 14-21) is a half-day music-driven program, 9 a.m. - noon, Jan. 4 for ages 14 - 21 at the Windy Hill Community Center. Discover new types of music, new instruments, sing a little karaoke and more. Register by Dec. 22.

TRS Cornhole League (ages 14 & older) is the league of the year!  Even if you have never played...come on out, learn the game, meet some new people, and have some friendly competition.  The league will be on Mondays, January 9-February 20 from 6:30pm-7:30pm.  Register by December 27. 

TRS Kickback Club (ages 14-21) is the newest Club on the block!  All participants will enjoy playing different games, while hanging with some new friends AND working on their social skills!  Mom and dad...you can sneak out to run some errands or go grab a bite to eat!  This club will be on Thursdays, January 12-February 16 from 5:30pm-7:00pm.  Register by January 3.
