10:30am - 01:00pm

Discover countless opportunities to engage positively in your community by joining us at our presentation. Learn about the diverse ways we serve communities through disaster response, blood initiatives, Service to Armed Forces initiatives, and a wide range of volunteer opportunities throughout the American Red Cross.

Did you know that every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood? At our Blood Drives, volunteers like you play a crucial role in saving lives. As a volunteer blood donor ambassador, you'll ensure that donors have a pleasant and fulfilling experience, from the moment they arrive to when they leave.

Here are some specific volunteer roles you can explore:

  • Disaster Recovery Team Member: Support our Regional Disaster Cycle Services by providing follow-up and recovery planning services, including referrals for individuals and households affected by events like home fires. Your role includes conducting follow-ups for clients with cases opened by our Disaster Action Team or caseworkers.
  • Duty Officer/Dispatcher: Volunteer from the comfort of your home as a Duty Officer, the first point of contact for local emergency responders. You'll coordinate Red Cross assistance for those impacted by local emergencies.

These roles are just a glimpse of the impactful work you can be a part of. Join us to learn more and discover how you can make a difference in your community!
