Older Americans Month
North Cobb Library is celebrating Older Americans Month with specially designed programs for our Seniors every Tuesday morning in May from 11 am-12pm.
May 7th - Becoming a Healthier You - 11am-12pm
Ensure a great quality of life in your "golden years" by learning how to love a healthy and productive life through eating right and staying alive. Presented by University Of GA Extension.
May 14th - Bone up on Health - 11am-12pm
Discuss the importance of healthy bones, learn how to support your bones and prevent slips and falls at home. Presented by University of GA Extension.
May 21st- Fitness for Beginners - 11am-12pm
Want to be more active but don't know where to start? Keith Mazonkey, Cobb County Employee Wellness Coordinator, will give tips for starting an exercise program, show you how to realize your personal motivation to exercise and set challenging goals for yourself.
May 28th- Drop-in Tech help - 11am-12pm
Need help with your laptop, smartphone or tablet? Want to set up an e-mail account, learn how to access Libby? We will have library staff available to give you one-on-one assistance.
