About this event

These workshops were developed in response to common questions and concerns about various topics related to water quality, pollution prevention, and ecological issues.

These workshops provide a brief overview (with a chance for questions and answers) for Cobb residents to better understand where our water comes from and how to protect this important resource.

March 22, 2023 - In-person & Virtual

Leak Detection

Rain Gardens

Rain Gardens are shallow, landscaped depressions that capture and filter stormwater and allow it to soak back into the ground. They reduce flooding from runoff and treat pollutants before they enter storm drains or waterways. They also conserve water and provide habitat for pollinators and other wildlife. This L&L will be primarily outdoors in Cobb Water's Wildlife & Rain Garden. Virtual participation will not be the entire program.
