What is B.E.S.T.?
B.E.S.T. (Broadening & Enriching Seniors Together) is a peer-to-peer education program, utilizing specially trained or experienced volunteers who make presentations on important and relevant topics facing seniors today. Tools and knowledge provided through these presentations are designed to empower older adults to remain independent, maintain a healthy lifestyle and safely age in place. While providing valuable knowledge about how to manage diabetes, manage medications, control high blood pressure and understand cholesterol, we can also enrich lives by showing how what you eat affects your health and mood, the basics of investing and taxes and demonstrate the tools you can use to make life a bit easier. We can even offer advice and guidance on writing, (everyone has a book in them)!
