Are you a caregiver in need of temporary relief? Cobb County Senior Services understands the challenges of caregiving and can help! Through our Respite Care program, we can provide temporary relief to caregivers caring for loved ones diagnosed with:

• Alzheimer's disease or other neurological conditions
• Physical or intellectual disabilities
• Or requires assistance with at least 3 activities of daily living

Services are provided in the home by a pre approved vendor and may include, companionship, supervision, light housekeeping, and personal care assistance.

Eligibility requirements include:

• Cobb County resident
• Caregiver must be 18+ and the care receiver 60+
• Must not be receiving services from Medicaid providers, veteran programs, private pay agencies/individuals, etc
• Cost determined by a sliding scale based on federal poverty scale

Eligibility is determined by an in home needs based assessment. There is a sliding scale fee for the service based on the household income (employment, self employed, social security benefits, pension, retirement, TANF, etc.)
