Classes will share how to preserve foods and funds
Cobb Cooperative Extension staff is offering hands-on canning classes this summer at the Extension office, 678 South Cobb Drive, Suite 200, Marietta. A jelly and jam class will be held 6-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 28. The class 6-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, will teach how to use a pressure canner for preserving low-acid vegetables, soups and meat products. Space is limited and registration is required.
