Rivers Alive Stream/River Clean Up


About: Keep Smyrna Beautiful, Keep Cobb Beautiful, Keep Marietta Beautiful, and the Cobb County Watershed Stewardship Program are partnering to protect our local waterways through Rivers Alive, Georgia's Annual Waterway Cleanup. Stop litter from polluting our waterways, harming wildlife or going into our oceans

Volunteer Duties: Volunteers will be cleaning litter from the trail, riverbank, and stream alongside a tributary of the Chattahoochee River. Volunteers can also choose to do an easier cleanup area including the parking lot and starting point of the cleanup.

Age Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 12 years old with a parent/guardian present at the event. Volunteers between 16-18 years old can participate without a parent/guardian present with a signed waiver.
