CobbLinc and Transdev joined other transit agencies across the country in celebrating National Transit Employee Appreciation Day on Tuesday, March 18, by hosting a special employee cookout to honor the hardworking men and women who keep public transportation operations running smoothly for Cobb County.

The event at CobbLinc’s operations facility, brought together drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, and administrative staff for an afternoon of food, fun, and gratitude. Leadership from both CobbLinc and Transdev expressed their appreciation for their employees' dedication to serving the community and keeping riders moving safely every day.

This celebration was part of a national effort to recognize transit professionals and highlight the importance of careers in the industry. Employees were encouraged to share their experiences on social media using the hashtag “TransitEmployeeAppreciationDay” to help spread the message of appreciation.
