The Cobb County Department of Transportation Director Erica Parish received the senior management team's Silver Eagle Award during the July 28, 2020 Board of Commissioners meeting.

The Silver Eagle award is presented annually to a Department Head that embodies outstanding service, leadership, collaboration and teamwork. Department directors and agency heads throughout Cobb County are asked to nominate one of their peers for this award. Innovative ideas, problem solving, and community involvement are taken into consideration during the nomination and voting process.

During the ceremony, the Chief Appraiser for the Tax Assessors Office Stephen White shared a comment from one of Erica’s nominating peers describing her as “very willing to listen” and “engaged” not only with her peers but with the community at large.

"DOT is fortunate to have Erica as our Director. She is an encouraging and positive leader that is dedicated to improving the community. We are truly proud of her for winning this well-deserved award!" said Drew Raessler, Deputy Directory of Cobb DOT.
