Creative Pottery Hand Building #9173

In this class, you will be maintaining, rolling and wedging your clay. Bring some hand building project ideas you would like to work on during this 6-week session. Wear clothing you will not mind getting slightly dirty.

Learn how to create your slab-built clay projects!  Learn the basics of working with clay and various basic glazing techniques. Projects will include salt and pepper shakers with tray, covered butter dish, gravy boat pitcher with drip tray and pea pod multi piece dish. Wear clothing you do not mind getting slightly dirty and join us for some creative fun.

Tai Chi emphasizes complete relaxation and is essentially a form of “meditation in motion”. Qigong ( “chee-gung”) is the Chinese philosophy and practice of aligning breath,

Zumba combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create an aerobic

Precious Metals Clay Jewelry I #9183

Precious metal clay is a crafting medium consisting of very small particles of silver, gold, bronze, or copper mixed with an organic binder and water for use in making jewelry, beads and small sculptures which are then fired in a kiln. During this class you will complete a pendant, pair of earrings and one item of your choice.

Famous Crimes #9188

Notorious and widely publicized crimes of all time will be examined during this class. All cases are approached as a cautionary tale of what can be learned from the mistakes of the victims by looking at the behavior of the criminal. Contemporary and historical crimes will be discussed.
