Beginner Tai Chi-Qigong #12411

Tai Chi emphasizes complete relaxation and is essentially a form of “meditation in motion”. Qigong (pronounced “chee-gung”) is the Chinese philosophy and practice of aligning breath, physical activity and awareness, for improved mental and physical health and increased energy. Suitable for all fitness levels.

This class is a beginner’s introduction to Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga, a free form yoga that “flows” start to finish. You will learn the sequences, correct technique and the role each pose plays in moving your body through a Power practice. Note that certain poses can be modified as required. Yoga mats required.

Learn the history, mechanics and joy of making your own jewelry.  During this class you will see how to design a piece of jewelry, choose complimentary color schemes and find out how different styles and sizes of beads work together. Precious metal clay is a crafting medium consisting of very small particles of silver, gold, bronze or copper mixed with an organic binder and water for use in making beads, jewelry and small sculptures which are then fired in a kiln.
