MobileEyes allows contractors and municipalities to submit permit inspection requests and track submitted jobs.

Effective immediately, the Cobb County Fire Marshal’s Office (FMO) will be limiting the number of scheduled inspections allocated per day for construction projects. The maximum number of FMO inspections that can be requested for any single project is 6 per day. Each sub-trade will further be limited to a maximum number of 2 inspections per day.

Additional inspections may be authorized on a case by case basis at the discretion of the supervising Captain. Expedited inspections can be requested in advance, and standard associated fees apply.

On February 9, 2021, the Board of Commissioners approved changes to the ordinance that will change the fees assessed by our office.

• Fee changes: Starting January 1st of 2022, each new construction inspection will be assessed a fee of $75 due before the inspection is scheduled. For clarity, no fees will be charged for Existing Annual Fire and Life safety inspections.
