The Five Heartbeats follows the career of a fictitious vocal group of that name, from early talent competitions to superstardom. The musical numbers replicate the vitality of the Motown songs that inspired the film.
Band: The Soul Knights
The Soul Knights are a new group from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina touring the East Coast. Daryl S. Bazilio is the group leader and Ephriam N. Brown is the Concert Director, along with talented members, Terrance McCullough, and Rinaldo Wright. The Soul Knights bring the iconic sounds of The Temptations, The Four Tops, The O’Jays, The Spinners and many other artists back to life with their high energy performance.
Pack your car with your favorite dinners, snacks, and drinks (no alcohol allowed). Gather your outdoor chairs and blankets and join the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre staff and friends for good music and great movies. The Al Bishop parking lot will open at 6:00 p.m on Saturday, September 19. The Soul Knights will begin performing at 7:00 p.m. and the movie will start at 8:00 p.m.
It's a $50 admission per vehicle (not per person). Please register only one member of your family/vehicle for this event. Keep your receipt (either print your receipt or show email confirmation) and when you enter the park you will be directed to your designated parking area. Your vehicle will be assigned two parking spaces to keep the proper amount of space between you and the next car. Once in your parking space, if you'd like to tune in through the radio frequency, the station will be 88.7 FM.
