Cobb County Public Library staff members invite you to join them in the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign. National Wear Red Day 2022 is February 4 – and February is American Heart Month.

The Go Red 2022 campaign at Cobb libraries is about library staff camaraderie and being creative while raising awareness about libraries as community focal points for wellbeing. The 2022 Wear Red Day theme is Reclaim Your Rhythm, it’s about “promoting easy opportunities to build healthy habits for a longer life.”

Across Cobb ZIP codes, life expectancy varies from the some of the highest levels in Georgia to drop by several years only a few miles away, evidence of related differences throughout the community in food security, blood pressure, activity levels and other factors. More than ever, Go Red is about shining a light on cardiovascular health as equity and accessibility challenges and the need to take action in the fight against heart disease and stroke.

Love #OurHearts. Join us and our Cobb County Government colleagues in celebrating Wear Red Day 2022 – Be FIERCE, Go Red! For information on resources and programs at Cobb libraries, visit cobbcat.org.
