Library Express (Library Service Under COVID-19)
Beginning Monday, December 21, 2020, Cobb County libraries previously open for limited services will offer Curbside Hold Pickup only until further notice. East Cobb, Gritters, Kemp, Mountain View, North Cobb, Powder Springs, Sewell Mill, Sibley, South Cobb, Stratton, Vinings, and West Cobb are providing Curbside Hold Pickup only. See below for details.
Book Drops and Quarantine
Outdoor book drops at all Cobb library locations, with the exception of Switzer Library, are open. Please note that returned items will be placed in quarantine directly from book drops. Items will remain on your account for up to 5 days. Items will be checked in and your account updated after items come out of quarantine.
Indoor book drops located in libraries open to the public will remain closed to maintain the integrity of the quarantine process. However, Book Club Kits and items that do not fit in outdoor book drops may be brought into the building and deposited into a receptacle provided by staff, which will be taken to the quarantine area.
Pickup hours are Mondays from 10 am – 8 pm and Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 am – 6 pm. There will be no weekend service.
