School Age Celebrate & Participate! Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day—Spread the Word of Peace and Kindness

Each month we will offer uplifting and celebratory activities that your school age children can participate in and enjoy sharing with their friends. Some celebrations will be serious, and some will be silly.

Let's engage our community spirit this week to gear up for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, on January 18th. Since many schools and businesses are closed in honor of this National Holiday of Service, let's get started today!

Here is one way to participate: Make gratitude cards and deliver them to school teachers, neighbors, parents or friends or whomever you appreciate. Who do you think would appreciate a handmade card or drawing from you?

Call ahead to schedule curbside service at West Cobb and pick up your books and one of our Celebration kits, Tuesday—Friday. We will deliver everything right to your car! Each kit includes the materials needed, along with your own glue, scissors, crayons or markers.

January 12—15th: Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day—Spread the Word of Peace and Kindness!

January 26—29th: Celebrate National Bubble Wrap Day!
