Rupert Fike's second collection of poems, Hello the House, (Snake Nation Press) won the Haas Poetry Prize and was listed as one of the "Books All Georgians Should Read, 2018" by The Georgia Center for the Book. In 2013 he was named runner-up as Georgia Author of the Year for Lotus Buffet (Brick Road Poetry Press). His poems have appeared in The Sun, The Southern Poetry Review, The Georgetown Review, Kestrel, A&U America's AIDS Magazine, The Flannery O'Connor Review, The Buddhist Poetry Review, Sky Island Journal and others. He has a poem inscribed in a downtown Atlanta plaza.
Komal Mathew is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and Sarah Lawrence College. Her poems have appeared in Beloit Poetry Journal, The Missouri Review, Narrative, The New Republic, Poetry, and others. Her debut poetry collection, For Daughters Who Walk Out Like Sons, won the 2020 Zone 3 Press First Book in Poetry award. She lives with her family in Smyrna, Georgia, where she is working on a verse novel for middle grade readers.
