March 14th is Pi Day, a celebration of the mathematical constant π (Pi). Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant figures of π. Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. 

To celebrate, we are building the numbers of Pi into one long paper chain all month long. Each number will be represented by a color of paper that gets added to the chain. Add a couple numbers of  π to the paper chain during your visit!
