October 26 - Fall National Drug Take Back Day

Safely dispose of unused and expired medications by bringing them to this FREE event on Saturday, October 26, 2019, 10 AM - 2 PM.

We will be accepting medications at TWO locations! 

1.  C. Freeman Pool Senior Center located at 4025 South Hurt Road, SW, Smyrna

2.  Precinct 1, 2380 Cobb Parkway NW, Kennesaw

Medications can remain in the original container and labels do not have to be removed.  Everything collected will be sealed and destroyed.

Accepted Items:  Prescription, over-the-counter liquids, pills, ointments, patches, creams, vials for humans and pets.

Unaccepted Items:  Needles, Sharps, EpiPen, durable medical equipment (CPAP, nebulizers, etc.).  No illegal drugs, aerosol cans, bio-hazardous materials (anything containing body fluid/blood), mercury thermometers, personal care products, (shampoo, soaps, lotions, sunscreens, etc.).  No household hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, oil, gas, etc.).
