Switzer Library and AARP Foundation Tax-Aide are partnering to provide a free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service every Thursday beginning February 6 through April 10 from 10:30am to 4:00pm, with the exception of February 27. Membership in AARP is not required.

Appointments are required. Appointments can be made through the AARP website here, by emailing SwitzerTaxes@gmail.com, or in person during the times listed above. AARP Volunteers will confirm appointment requests made by email or in-person.

Each taxpayer is asked to bring their 2023 returns and 2024 tax documents. Also, each taxpayer must present their social security card or other identification documents for themselves and all dependents. For direct deposit refunds, the taxpayer must have a valid check.
