Black History Art Exhibit at North Cobb Regional Library
North Cobb Regional Library in partnership with South Cobb Art Alliance and African Americans for the Arts will host an art exhibit throughout the month of February in celebration of Black History Month!
The AAFTA Exhibit Our Eyes are Wide Open features beautiful art by local artists and will be on display from January 9 until February 26th.
Two additional events will be held:
Exhibit Reception on February 3rd from 2 to 4pm where you will meet the Artists who contributed their artwork to this exhibit as well as a musical harp presentation by Lyrika Holmes, a Georgia Governor’s Art Award winner (Georgia Trend Magazine article) and Founder and Director of Artz for the Harp.
An additional event meeting one-on-one with artists and a special artist panel discussion and workshop will be held on February 24th from 2 to 4pm.

AAFTA is a non-profit arts advocacy organization whose goal is to educate and promote diversity in the arts community and is comprised of visual artists, musicians, spoken word artists, authors, craft persons, educators and supporters of the arts.
Event is free and open to the public.
SCAA is an all volunteer arts organization established in 1972.
