Saturday, 4/06/2024 - Saturday, 4/06/2024
09:00am - 12:00pm

About this event

Become a community herpetologist.

Get trained as community herpetologists and learn to identify frogs, toads, and salamanders by their habitat, morphology, and vocalizations. Monitors will be allowed to collect data on local amphibian populations and contribute to both regional and global studies of amphibian diversity. It is highly recommended that you also attend the Amphibian Monitoring Field Studies to learn how to implement the survey techniques and practice identification.
