2019 SCRA Landscape RFP Project Limits
January 22, 2019

Project Overview:

South Cobb Redevelopment Authority (SCRA) recently installed landscape beautification improvements to both the Riverside and Six Flags interchanges adjacent to I20 located in Cobb County, Georgia. SCRA is requesting qualifications and proposals from Contractors for the landscape maintenance for both interchanges for one year with an option to renew on a yearly basis.

  • It is anticipated the maintenance work can be completed without the closure of roadway lanes. At no time should any lane of traffic be close without prior notification to SCRA. If it is determined lane closure is needed, the contractor shall provide the appropriate traffic control measures and gain approval from GDOT prior to construction or maintenance activities.
  • The SCRA reserves the right to issue the maintenance contracts for the two interchanges separately or together, therefore, SCRA is requesting cost proposals separately for each interchange.
  • SRCA reserves the right to cancel the bid process at any time. Submitters are responsible for incurring all costs associated with the proposal submittal. SCRA encourages (DBE) participation as well as having a business in District 4 of SCRA.
  • The maintenance contract shall be for one year. The SCRA reserves the right to re-compete the maintenance contract each year or terminate the contract at any time. This RFP shall be considered part of the final executed contract.
